About the study and its amazing findings
The study involved a 30 Day Trial involving two control groups: An Aerobic Training Group which trained, using a treadmill or full body elliptical, for 30 minutes per session, three sessions per week.

The second group, The Cardio Gym Group, performed 30 second bouts of exercise on the Cardio Gym (model CG3500) recumbent bike combined with resistance training using the Cardio Gym's cable system. These intervals were alternated with 30-second recovery periods with no activity.
