The 500 square metre fitness equipment specialist, located in Garbutt's bustling Domain Central on Duckworth St, is Workout World's first north Queensland shopfront. This takes the total number of Workout World stores in Queensland to eight.

Workout World marketing manager Mark Garrahy says the company is looking forward to becoming an integral part of the Townsville community and developing strong relationships in the region.

The store is managed by fully certified gym instructor Jacqui Walters. Jacqui has achieved Certificate III in Fitness and is currently completing Certificate IV in Fitness. She is also trained as a Les Mills instructor in both BodyAttack and RPM group fitness classes.
