Workout World at Bankstown gets onboard with the Bulldogs' Luke Patten and Michael Sullivan

Workout World Bankstown gets behind its local footy champions

Local specialist fitness equipment retailer Workout World at Bankstown has shown its support for the local NRL community, becoming the exclusive player sponsor of Bulldogs fullback Luke Patten and hooker Michael Sullivan for the 2008 season.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Workout World at Bankstown will receive game day announcements at each home game during the season, with the Workout World logo appearing on both Luke Patten's and Michael Sullivan's website bios. As well, Workout World signage will be used on the field during all home games excluding finals and feature in the players' gymnasium.

Paul Sawaqed, who manages Workout World at Bankstown, says he is extremely excited about the sponsorship agreement.

"I personally am very passionate about rugby league and hence I am extremely excited about our store's involvement with the Bulldogs.

"I think rugby league is a great form of exercise and promotes a healthy lifestyle among people of all ages and gives families the opportunity to get active and enjoy a balanced lifestyle together.

"The Bulldogs are a team that embodies great stamina, skill and passion. I am proud to be associated with such a strong team and I am thrilled that our local sponsorship will help deliver the excitement of the game to locals," he said.

Paul says that without the support of his local community his business would not be where it is today.

"As a local business we are always looking for ways to give back to the community. At Workout World at Bankstown, we saw the Bulldogs exclusive player sponsor opportunity as an ideal way to engage with our community and give something back."

Workout World at Bankstown proudly helps locals find suitable fitness equipment for their lifestyle and financial needs. Workout World at Bankstown is part of a respected national network of 35 stores.

"We recognise that without the support of our local community our business would not be the success story it is today," Paul said.

"I find it extremely satisfying to give something back to our local community who have generously supported our Workout World store over the years," Paul said.

"We take great care to provide locals with a large range of fitness equipment coupled with our leading service and after sales support, giving our customers peace of mind."

Paul added: "Our staff members are reputable, fully trained fitness equipment specialists who can guide customers through their purchase process."

Describing the support sponsorship deal, the Bulldogs' strength and conditioning coach Scott Campbell said: "The Bulldogs are extremely impressed with the reliability and support Workout World Bankstown has delivered. Paul Sawaqed is a professional and reliable businessman that has helped support our move recently to Sydney Olympic Park and he played an integral part of this process by supplying start of the art equipment."

"We recommend Workout World Bankstown to everyone who is looking for reliable fitness equipment and service."
